The UWS has a Michael's now. I am totally excited because they have great stuff, especially candy making supplies. Fortunately for our budget, the store is more than 30 blocks north at 100th and Columbus. I'm taking walks with Ranger on the days it's not too frigid, but if he doesn't start fussing around the 10 block mark, I tend to get tired and want to head home around the 15 block mark.
Still, I can take a cab there, and I will eventually. Right now it's too cold for me to think about going out.
I LOVE Michael's. There's two of them, one in either direction, here, though both are far enough that I don't get to go as often as I'd like (probably a good thing). But they have re-vamped since years ago when last I frequented, and their jewelry-making stuff is AWESOME. They have EVERYTHING! Ah... We're going in February. I've already decreed it. LOL
