City baby

Our kid can sleep through fire engines roaring past, jack hammers 5 feet away, and subway cars squeeeee'ing to a stop.  He is fine on the subway and on the bus.  No problem in the taxis either.

I just wonder if he'll be all weirded out when we visit my family and hears crickets and frogs.

  1. I think it's a built in baby thing. When she was about one, Little Bit slept through the fire alarm going off right outside her room. We went deaf. She didn't even wake up!
