I am a little clueless at times

So I volunteered to be the organizer for our synagogue new and expecting parent group.
And recently was (very politely) told that I had (inadvertently) scheduled some meeting on some holy day and that wasn't cool, mmmkay?
Gay! I am such a horrible Jew um.... Oh, yeah, how would I know? Thankfully they have decided to prevent future misunderstandings by having me run any meeting by their person.
