Picture of Ranger and question about thank you notes

I don't have anything blogworthy to say, and don't want y'all to think I slid right off the face of the Earth or something. So here's an Instagram of Ranger. I have few posts percolating that may or may not ever get written...

And since I have you here, I've got a question.  Do you send thank you notes to people you've already thanked over the phone or on email? I know the "it doesn't hurt" rule applies (it doesn't hurt to send them). But I also hate repetitiveness, and don't have much task specific time available (by that I mean, from I wake up until Ranger sleeps, getting anything done without his "help" is at best a challenge).
