Hoping the apple didn't fall far from the tree

Look at this wonderful painting my mom did (the original photo is next to it)
 From time to time I get touched by the talent fairy and can paint something nice... I hope I can work my way up to her level of talent, that's for sure!

    Cool. I always wished I could paint, but that's just not my gift. I'm much better with pen and paper or a needle and thread. shrug. Oh, well.
